Multi-Engine Rating
If one engine isn't enough then this is the rating for you! Most multi-engine aircraft have increased speed, payload, and range than their single-engine counterparts, and also create a safer platform for night and instrument flying. Although some larger multi-engine aircraft require additional training, Nationwide can complete your multi-engine rating, allowing you to fly most smaller multi-engine models, in as little as 3 days. The rating can be added to your current private or commercial certificate. A Commercial Pilot Certificate is similar to your Private Pilot Certificate except it allows you to fly an airplane and carry passengers and/or property for hire under certain conditions. The flight hours earned to obtain the private and instrument rating are credited towards the required 250 hours. This is also a required rating for all flight instructors.
